Avi and i also met over the internet…he is a collector of tattoos, and has many tattoo artist friends, but the btd style won him over and he occasionally travels down from China to add more ink to this enormous piece…still in the making

Josh is about to embark on his trip to Nepal for a few months- we met some time ago when i pierced his ears.  Just last week he added his first tattoo – meaning FULL- the beautiful caligraphy is painted by my good friend, Kin.

  Tibeten word for food..

  this is not Josh, but his friend, Carmen - josh and carmen met in a clothing shop- she came back for more tattoo

I met Nick a couple of  days after he had been to Ricky’s tattoo in Wan Chai for his phoenix tattoo- although we both agreed that the design was beautiful in it’s own right, it wasn’t really funky and up-to-date..bluetongue did a re-work to give it some modern styling..

On the Road Again,

The first two weeks of March, 2007, saw me in Korea for a whirlwind tattoo tour.  The American army has a base about two hours north by train from Busan–and it is these boys i went to ink….

stuart.>   stuart is a bit of a special case…butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth..hahaha. Although he managed to dig up the cash for two tattoos, he did a tatt-dash on the last one, and never paid me…ready when you are stuart.

and for my favourite…kyong sook..we had some great laughs driving around korea. without her i would have seen very little of korea…if this is a friendship in the making, i am very glad for that.  she showed me some traditional korean food, and we went up to the mountains to drink tea..thanks ks, i look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Shanghai, baby!!

Leanna and Mike were looking to come to hk for some tattoos over the chinese new year….but couldn’t get the tickets. So they went to Shanghai instead, and i decided to meet with them there and do our tattoos in China!! What a great trip- very tired at the end of course mike pushed it for 13 hours and Leanna for 4…what a couple!!

we partied with my friends from hk, after all, it was chinese new year!! there were fireworks right outside the hotel as we tatttooed our lives away………

next we will meet in korea…
